NOW ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS FOR MARCH 2009 CLASS
EMT-Basic is offered as a hybrid online class. All didactic instruction is completed through the www.emsacademy.com website and learning management system, while hands on and clinical training is provided at the Medical College of Georgia, in Augusta, Georgia. We are currently accepting applications for the March 2009 class. Eligible students must be 18 years of age prior to completion of the course, and show proof of high school graduation, or a GED. The course structure requires students to complete 6 days of hands on training, testing, and clinical experience in Augusta, Georgia. The hands on time is offered in a weekend format (2, three day weekends) or as 1 solid week of training in residence. Upon successful completion of all online and in-person training, students will be authorized to sit for the National Registry Certifying Exam.
- Course cost is $1250, payment is broken down into 3 steps.
- $750 initial cost for access to online training materials
- $250 per 3 days of hands on training (remember 6 days of hands on training are required)
